“Deep Cleansing Breaths” Releasing Method

I thought this would be an appropriate day and time in our lives, and in our history, to share this particular method of release, seeing as we all have much to release and let go of, individually and as a people.

Today I am going to talk with you about a releasing method that is quick, easy and can be done practically anywhere. What are you going to release? Whatever you want to, basically. Definitely whatever no longer serves you. Only you can make that decision, so I’m going to keep it general in that department. This method can be done standing or seated, whichever is most comfortable for you, and either inside or outside. Whereever and whenever you can do this is good as long as you have about 2 to 5 minutes to yourself. Yes, it’s that quick. 😉

You begin by closing your eyes and as neutrally as possible, look at the emotion or situation you want to release. If you are sitting, sit with your arms on your legs, palms up. If you are standing, start with your arms loosely at your sides.

Now, breathe in deeply, easily and slowly through your nose. As you fill your lungs up with life giving air, say this Stuart Wilde affirmation to yourself:

“I am the power. I pull from within me the energy I need to go beyond my challenges.”

Visualize your inner energy rising up within you as you breathe in and say the affirmation. See it filling your entire being with positivity and light. At the top of the breath, hold it for just a moment, then again slowly and easily, let your breath out through your mouth and say my release affirmation to yourself:

“I now lovingly release and let go of (insert what you wish to release) cleanly and easily.”

As you let your breath out, see whatever it is that you are releasing as going down your grounding cord, all the way to the center of the Earth. At the bottom of the breath, hold it for just a moment and then begin the process again. Do this three times and then relax and breathe normally for a moment or two.

This is when I incorporate an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tap to help your body release even deeper. With the first three fingers of your dominant hand and using the finger tips, tap what’s called the “karate chop” point (it’s on the outside of your hand, just below the last pinkie knuckle) on your other hand, while saying the following:

“Even though I’m feeling (insert how you feel about the situation, or whatever the emotion that you want to release), I deeply and completely love and forgive myself.”

Do this three times as well and continue to tap as you say it. You don’t need to tap fast, or hard; a steady rhythm works best. Once you’ve completed this three times, again, just relax and breathe easy. If you have the time and really want to let go, then do this whole process three times in one session. So that would be Breathing – Tapping – Breathing – Tapping – Breathing – Tapping.

The power of doing things three times is an ancient magical practice. One of the old magic sayings was “Thrice spoken, Once fulfilled”.

By using this releasing method, you are consciously letting go emotionally, mentally and physically of those things that no longer serve you or work for you at this time. I hope you find this method as easy to use as I do, and please let me know if you have any questions about it.

Brightest Blessings to you all on this historic day!

108 Belly Massage – Fast and Easy Centering Technique

Sometimes, the most profound techniques are the simplest to do and to use. The 108 Belly Massage is a definite case in point. This method was taught to us by our main acupuncturist and Shen Master, Dr. Harijot Singh Khalsa. It is quick, easy and can basically be done anywhere, at any time if you have just a few minutes to yourself.

With your dominant hand, you place your palm flat on your belly just below your solar plexis. Now, in a circular fashion, move your hand to the left side of your belly, but not fully to the side of your body, then down below your navel point, just above your groin, and then come up the right side of your belly and complete the circle back at the starting point completely circling around your belly button. You do not have to apply much pressure at all, simply push in with your hand slightly.

You do this circular belly massage 108 times. That may sound like a lot, but in fact it really does only take just a couple of minutes to complete, depending on how fast you’re going. The idea here is not to do it too fast and not to do it too slow. You’ll find the pace that is right for you once you’ve done it a couple of times.

Ok, so what does this do, and why 108 times? This technique helps to bring in and focus your body energy. By doing this especially right before you get out of bed in the morning, you are strengthening and balancing your bodies energy before any outside energy of the day can intrude. Along with grounding and being in the center of your head, this will give you much needed strength, stamina and balance as you go to meet the demands of the day. Feeling a little run down and a lack of energy? Do this belly massage and feel your energy return to you right away. It also helps to calm you and bring you to a state of peace because of the centering effect it has.

The idea behind doing this 108 times goes back to ancient Sanskrit times. It is considered a very sacred number. There are many examples of the number 108 being used for meditation, chanting and repetitions of various yogic exercises. In the Sanskrit alphabet, there are 54 letters and each has a masculine and feminine perspective, which gives us 108. The Sun’s diameter is 108 times bigger than Earth’s diameter. There are 108 different stages the human soul passes through on it’s way to enlightenment. In astrology, there are 9 planets and 12 houses (9×12=108). There are 108 lines of energy, or nadis, that radiate from the human heart, etc.

As you can see, the number 108 is quite prevalent in many areas of our world. By doing this massage 108 times, you are aligning with the vibration of that number and bringing in it’s energy to you. It is part of my daily meditation routine, and considering how easy it is to do, you will do well to add it to yours also. I know you will find it to be a wonderful addition to your spiritual practice.

Deep Peace,

A New Years Blessing of Release and Letting Go

You can use this blessing at anytime really, but it is particularly good to use at the end of something. A job, a committment, a relationship, a project, whatever. This will help you to let go of what has ended and to bring back to you your energy that you have used or given away during the process. Simply substitute “old year”/”2008” with whatever you are releasing. This is best done from a meditative state. Look with your inner sight at the object of release, and say…

Hello, old year of 2008. I see that it is time for you and I to part. In my minds eye, I look back and I see all that you and I accomplished together, and I am grateful for those things. I see all that you and I did not accomplish, and I am grateful for the lessons of those things.

It is with this gratitude and thanks that I now release and let go of all that we were, knowing that I have grown from the experience; knowing that I am different than I was and that I no longer have use for what was, but instead look at the present state of what is and look forward to what will be.

I release and let go of all of the negative emotions that I had in 2008, no matter what might have caused them to surface. I recall back to me all of my energy that I spent and sent out in negative thought and feeling. I recall back to me also all of the positive energy that I gave out, knowing that only I can use my own energy.

I fully release and let go of the people, events and things from the past year that no longer serve my highest purpose. I release them joyously, and with a glad and grateful heart for the lessons learned. I wish them well, and I wish them gone from my life so that I may invite in new people, events and things that are better aligned to who I am now.

I now say Goodbye to you, 2008. You were what you were, and I am thankful for the many things I experienced and learned during your time.

So mote it be!

I wish you all the very Brightest Blessings for the New Year!

Deep Peace, Prosperity, Health & Happiness!!

The Winter Solstice will be direct this year on December 21st, at 12:04PM GMT, 7:04AM EST, 6:04AM CST, 5:04AM MST, and 4:04AM PST.

I offer up this blessing:

Great and Eternal mystery, Great Spirit; God, Goddess, All that is; The Infinite Radiant Is. I thank you for this light and this life. For this beauty way. I thank you for this season of deep contemplation, reflection and retrospection. It is this time of season that offers us the opportunity to grow inwardly as we await the coming of the outward growth of Spring.

In this time of the short day and the long night, I give thanks for all that I have achieved this past year, and all that I will achieve in the new one. I offer up prayers and blessings of gratitude, and thanksgiving for the lessons I have learned; the relations of all varieties I have helped, and that have helped me to grow.

I thank you for this time of stillness so that I can once again hear my heart beat in time with the true rhythm of the Universe.

As we move forward from this Solstice day, I give thanks for the renewing energy that fills all of our lives with the mounting warmth of the new Sun and the new year.

In Gratitude; In Thanks; In Peace; In Wonderment; In Joy I say Ring Out Solstice Bells!

Brightest Blessings to all!

Ring Out, Solstice Bells by Jethro Tull

Now is the solstice of the year.
winter is the glad song that you hear.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Have the lads up ready in a line.

Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.

Join together ‘neath the mistletoe,
by the holy oak whereon it grows.
Seven druids dance in seven time.
Sing the song the bells call, loudly chiming.

Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.

Praise be to the distant sister sun,
joyful as the silver planets run.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Sing the song the bells call, loudly chiming.

Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.
Ring on, ring out.
Ring on, ring out.
