It will take about an hour for the shadow to cover the entire moon. Totality begins at 7:41 a.m. GMT/UT, 2:41 a.m. EST, 1:41 a.m. CST, 12:41 p.m. MST, and 11:41 p.m. PST and lasts for 72 minutes.

I offer up this blessing:

Great and Eternal mystery, Great Spirit; God, Goddess, All that is; The Infinite Radiant Is. I thank you for this light and this life. For this beauty way. I thank you for this season of deep contemplation, reflection and retrospection. It is this time of season that offers us the opportunity to grow inwardly as we await the coming of the outward growth of Spring.

In this time of the short day and the long night, I give thanks for all that I have achieved this past year, and all that I will achieve in the new one. I offer up prayers and blessings of gratitude, and thanksgiving for the lessons I have learned; the relations of all varieties I have helped, and that have helped me to grow.

I thank you for this time of stillness so that I can once again hear my heart beat in time with the true rhythm of the Universe.

As we move forward from this Solstice day, I give thanks for the renewing energy that fills all of our lives with the mounting warmth of the new Sun and the new year.

In Gratitude; In Thanks; In Peace; In Wonderment; In Joy I say Ring Out Solstice Bells!

Brightest Blessings to all!

Ring Out, Solstice Bells by Jethro Tull

Now is the solstice of the year.
winter is the glad song that you hear.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Have the lads up ready in a line.

Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.

Join together ‘neath the mistletoe,
by the holy oak whereon it grows.
Seven druids dance in seven time.
Sing the song the bells call, loudly chiming.

Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.

Praise be to the distant sister sun,
joyful as the silver planets run.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Sing the song the bells call, loudly chiming.

Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.
Ring on, ring out.
Ring on, ring out.

What is Your Statement of Positivity?

So, what is a Positivity statement? First off, this is another tool that you can use to maintain a more positive outlook, emotion and energy, in your life. Typically, a Statement of Positivity starts with “I always…” followed by your positive statement about something that tends to happen more often than not. They can be about almost any subject or situation. Some of the ones I’ve heard over the years have been, “I always do good on math tests”, and “I always have the best time when I go to so-and-so’s house”, and “I always feel wonderful when I’m at the beach” and one of my personal ones, “I always feel amazing when I work with my healing clients”. Sometimes, a positivity statement can start with “I never…”, such as “I never get sick”, or “I never let minor irritations bother me”.

“I always walk in beauty and peace when I am in the woods”

Most everyone has at least one of these statements of positivity that they say on a regular basis. While some may not feel like they do because they don’t normally say it out loud, if you check how you feel about going to places that you enjoy, or seeing people that you love and respond to, you’ll find the mental inner talk that is saying these statements. Your mom says, “We’re going to Grandma’s on Sunday”, and you get excited and happy. You know you are going to have a good time. Why? Because you almost always have a good time when you’re at your Grandma’s house.

This is an expected outcome. You expect to feel good, be treated well and have a fun time. Because this is what you expect to happen, you send out positive waves of energy and emotion and those waves are reflected back to you and you receive them in the form of that good time at Grandma’s. You’ve just created your reality the way you wanted it to be, and you didn’t have to work at it, or think hard about it, or struggle emotionally with it. You had a thought, you then had a positive and good feeling about the thought, and you then set up the vibration based on your energy and emotion and so it was.

“I always feel an infinite connection when I meditate”

As you can see, this can become an extremely powerful tool that you can use to create your life to be as fun, loving and amazing as you want. You can also use this to reverse any negative statements that you’ve been making about your life. Instead of saying things like, “I never catch a break”, you can look back on your life, and see the times when you did indeed catch a break, and so you can modify the negative statement to a positive one by saying something like, “You know, sometimes I do catch a break, and I’m grateful for that.”

Whenever you look at anything that is a positive or a good feeling aspect of your life, you are immediately giving that aspect more energy and “life force” than the negative aspect. Remember, what you focus on, becomes your reality. The more strong emotion you have about what you’re focusing on, the faster it becomes your reality. Look at how good you feel when you say, or think, one of your statements of positivity. You not only feel good, but you also feel more confident and secure, because of your positive expectation. What this confidence and secure feelings do is calm your ego down, so that it doesn’t feel threatened. This means that the more positive statements you can say to yourself and about yourself, the more you are in spiritual and emotional control of your life.

“I always enjoy playing my guitar, for myself and others”

Have fun with this new tool, and see how easy it is for you to create new statements of positivity about all the different aspects of your life. They become very powerful affirmations that you can use at any time to help you shift your focus, reset your energy and feel better and better about you. Remember to make sure your statement is in present time, and that the words you use are powerful and meaningful to you, and help you to feel better. =)

The Tree of Good Feeling

While working with one of my healing clients, an idea came to me to help better explain how the principle of, as Abraham advises, “reaching for better feeling thoughts”, actually gets us where we want to go. The analogy I saw in my vision is of a tree. If you think of a tree, you see a strong, sturdy trunk with many branches evolving into even more branches and finally ending in either leaves, flowers or fruit.

The way this was shown to me, the trunk represents your core belief; in this case, your belief in your happiness and your ability to give yourself happiness and feel good. The stronger that belief, the larger the trunk of the tree. Obviously, if your belief is not that strong, then the trunk of your ‘tree of good feeling’ will be correspondingly small and slight. Now even with a small tree, you can still find your way to happiness, but it won’t be as plentiful as with a big tree, and you won’t feel it as intensely and abundantly.

What you want to do is to get your level of belief in yourself and your happiness so strong, that you have a continuously larger and larger trunk. When this happens, you will have more and more branches. Each branch representing another circumstance of your happiness. One branch is your job, lets say, and each successive branching off this main branch shows you the different types of good feelings you get from your job. There’s the “I like my job” branch, then the “I like and enjoy my co-workers” branch, and so on. You get the idea.

Tree of Good Feeling

Tree of Good Feeling

By looking at the separate, yet combined and attached, branches of each aspect of your life, you can begin to see how you can create new branches of happiness at will, by looking where each branch takes you and adding on new branches as you find the new happiness there. I see this as a great way of showing yourself the abundance of happiness you actually do have in your life, and by looking at it in this way, you then bring in even more happiness in all ways.

You can use this imagery for any aspect of your life to see how abundant that aspect is. Use it to see how much love is in your life at this moment, and how much peace, and joy, and well-being, and prosperity. Anything and everything can be applied to this process and you’ll get immediate understanding of where you are at with each of them. May your Tree be evergreen in all ways. =)

Bright Blessings,
